The GRAND ILLUSION SHOW blends the classic illusions of the masters, comedy and death defying escape stunts made famous by Houdini into a spectacular performance. Mike and his lovely assistant will recreate Houdini's Metamorphosis. Witness Mike as he thrust swords into a Chinese Pagoda ...a daring illusion with hilarious results. To conclude the evening, Mike might attempt to escape from a straight-jacket hanging in mid air or see Mike come close to a drowning death while locked inside a water-filled milk can. For those who want to go all out, Mike will turn a lovely assistant into a Siberian Tiger.
As a master Chinese chef, Mike combines magic, comedy and his incredible culinary skills into an entertaining CHINESE COOKING DEMONSTRATION AND SHOW. He will prepare the entrees with a flair and even add some very unique and unusual garnishes. Mike will prepare the cuisine while sharing his cooking secrets and stories about the food and the Chinese culture. Cooking demonstrations can last all day at trade shows or an hour and a half action-packed performance would be ideal as a spouse program at a convention. For PARTIES IN THE HOME the guest will feast on a six course meal with each entree being introduced by the striking of an enormous Chinese gong. While your guest are dining, Mike will entertain with a selection of classical music on your piano. Following dinner, Mike will then perform magic, totally baffling everyone with his incredible skill. This complete evening of entertainment is priced on a per person basis.
